My little town ❤️

My little town ❤️

Aww just take a peep at my little town

As a camera clicked onboard an aeroplane as it was looking down

One can marvel at the surrounding  Farmers pastures, his jewel and his crown

And our heathered hillocks in the background, snow capped and golden brown

Oh how I simpy adore my little place with it’s rolling river running through and the countryside wide open space

One can ramble yon highlands and view the valleys below, whilst soaking up the atmosphere from the river’s rapid flow

Quaint market town shops line our old little streets, with country style cafes where all our locals meet and greets

Wiling away a lazy afternoon driving to the sea, this heart of my homelands is just a crow’s flight for me

Then when the day is over and the setting sun is in the west, we journey  home along our scenic routes and snuggle up for our rest

Looks nice, is it Hexham   ...not been in that area for 40 years or more. . You're lucky not to be industrialised..Jedborough..that sticks in my memory too.

A Lonely Journey

Hi Jillinator!
What a cute town! I love it. I ummm, think I can see in your window, though, and you might want to close the bathroom shades, but maybe not. LOL!
How are you? I miss you! It was nice to come on and see this though.
Are those yaks in the far field? Awesome.
Matthew.

A Lonely Journey

Really??!!
Wow, I had a mountain goat lodged in my nostril once...don't ask...I went to sniff some flowers in a field, by your house, and didn't see him there, and whammo! in the old proboscis! I had to have foot surgery to have him removed(I don't have a very good doctor). LOL. M.
