MY MASK

MY MASK

When I put on my make up,

I am no longer me

I wear a mask

A mask that hides my true identity.

No one actually knows who I am,

I could tell you how  "I" feel

But how do you know if what "I" say is real

I'm two different people

What can I say

The one is evil

The other one is just ok

I feel lost

I should've known that

Hiding me comes with a cost.

Mercedes, a ploy most of us woman use ha ha!  A good write Mercedes I do appreciate that the meaning went a little deeper than make up lol!  I felt a lot of sadness in this Mercedes, nicely penned!  A vote from me.  Congratulations on your nomination:)

Thank you Rachel :) I tried to make it about make up but then feelings just started pouring out and that was the outcome.
