My Mum And Dad.

1. When I was only 10 years old, God my father saw my plight,
He took me from a children's home,
He took away my night.(my destitute condition).
2. He took me to the country then,
far from my broken home,
He gave me a new Mum and Dad,
He gave me a new home.
3. Mum and Dad showed their love for me, but I despised their love,
I wanted the love of my birth Mum and Dad.
I only wanted their love.
4. Mum and Dad showed their love for me, but I thought their love was hate,
but when I realized the truth, alas it
was too late.
5, I wish I showed my love to them in their living years,
I only have their mem'ry now, 
plus my very many tears.
6. Please God forgive me for the way I've treated Mum and Dad,
I acted like the prodical son,
I was really very bad.
7. Mum and Dad are in Your care,
wherever they may be,
You're their great Saviour as well as mine,
I leave them both with Thee.
