MY NAILS

My nails were long and also needed filingĀ
However a visit to the manicurist didn't leave me smiling
Thirty pounds charged for twenty minutes workĀ
Little wonder then I was angry and berserkĀ

My nails when done looked polished and were freshly cut
The price charged for the service I started to tutĀ
How I asked do you justify this chargeĀ
The manicurist replied your nails were originally overgrown and largeĀ

I walked out the salon and thought if all else failsĀ
At least I will have freshly produced and clean cut nails
