Poem -

My name will be a name and not a slaves...

My name will be a name and not a slaves...

Well I guess I'm gonna leave this town for a while now and come back one day and tell you stories of mine
When you hear my voice surrounding your heartbreak, you will feel it in your chest and hear the cries
From the streets to fame I'll have riches and names
From the life that breathes to the heartless in graves
My name will be a name and not a slaves
My name will be a name and not a slaves

I sat there with eyes as black as coal and thoughts of the darkest futures
Trading comments in my head, one beats one, and the other is putrid
Flourishing battles with a means to change
Determined courage and fighting not to stay
My name will be a name and not a slaves
My name will be a name and not a slaves

I'm watching the orange sky burn through the clouds with ease
I'm chasing the moon down and in my heart I'm feeling free
Collecting the stars and putting them in my sight
Now I'm burning the skies and the future is bright
My name will be a name and not a slaves
My name will be a name and not a slaves
