" MY NEIGHBORHOOD..."

" MY NEIGHBORHOOD..."

As I rushed out
This morning,
Storms were predicted
But, then the winds
Began blowing, softly
A stranger smiled at me
And I inhaled the promise
Of a light, elegant, rain,
That held it's own forecast
For a most, happy day,
In my neighborhood...

The portent was true,
I fell in Love
With, soft raindrops
And strange passersby,
That smiled,
And made my neighborhood
Sing,
Like Vivaldi's strings...

Each "Walk Sign", turned white
As if, for me and my cane alone
Gracefully drinking it all in,
With a sour limp,
But, an eye that caught individuality
Passing, so happily through
My neighborhood's
Most radiant,
Day,
Of soft
Warm,
Blazing
Gloriousness.....

And so I avoided puddles,
And well bred poodles
In a most magnificent way,
Above myself, I soared
In the joy
That was the tranquility
Of my neighborhood's
Most, improper loveliness
And beauty,
Beyond,
Equality....

Hello Tony...

A smile from a stranger did that to you?

I must say if I saw you on the street I would have smiled too!

Does that mean you may have liked me?

Sounds like a very pleasant day...

Thank you for sharing...

Hugs and Smiles!

Hi Tony,

Wow.  Sounds like the neighborhood of Nirvana.  Soft raindrops.  Wet love.  Heavenly music.  Floating in ecstasy.  I think I'm moving to "Your Neighborhood".  A beautiful mesmerizing write.  But, one always expects nothing less from your so beautifully gifted mind.

Peace and love,

xox Larry
