MY ODE TO THE BAND

I first saw this band back in May of 2015 
The greatest musical talent I had ever seen 
Shanty punk or folk punk you can decide and choose 
Whilst listening to their songs and looking at Lorna's red shoes 

Skinny Lister is the name of this band I admire and respect 
Lorna, Max, Dan, Scott, Sam and Thom make up this sextet 
Every time I see them it fills me with joy and with pride 
Each show gives me happiness and a warm feeling inside 

Thank you all Skinny Lister for the music you give 
The good times I have shared I will remember for as long as I live
