My old raggydoll 💕

Tattered and torn she looks over at me with eyes of cloth that cannot see..Fragments of felt faded from blue that shone like the sunlight when they were new..But I love her now like I loved her before, when I toddled along dragging her on the floor..

My old raggy doll means the whole world to me, propped up on my dresser so floppily..She has listened to laughter and got wet with my tears, and lay close beside me through the darkest of fears..My old raggy doll was my childhood friend, I shall reminisce our memories until my  journey’s end..My only toy from my bygone days, so that makes her special in so many ways..We share the same smells when all is said and done, coz I have cherished her forever and I am sixty one..
