My Own Journey

A long journey ahead of me

I will make it to the end

but it's longer than I think

I continue walking until my feet hurt and starts to bleed

my steps begins to become weak

Then my walk turns into a crawl and I continue to follow these dreams

Even if it kills me

I won't give in

I won't dare to think

as much as it hurts me

inside and out

I will live my life remembering the ones that made me

The ones that gave the dreams that fate threaded inside

as my will starts to trimble

nothing will stop me

Making my journey through the dark

I will find a path to my own heart

Letting myself know

I made it a life worth the fight

and tonight I will let myself make my own journey
