My own little songs

My own little songs

I pen my poems and I write my songs but I don’t have anyone to play my tune
So I have no other alternative but to do my best at singing myself in a croon

Over forty different songs that I have created with none of them the same
I only wish that I had another voice coz it’s only my sound and that’s a shame

But I have each song saved on my phone with my lyrics in my book
So every now and then when I’m on my lonesome well I often have a look

Especially when I take an evening stroll out in the open countryside
First I make sure there’s no one around then I open my mouth wide

Haha I sing my own little songs and I know them all by heart
Goodness knows how many more I will write before the day I part

OMG I love this.  Reading your poem especially about how you store and jot down poetry in your phone is what I do.  Check out my poem / song. Soul Rhythm Rock n Roll.  I wish I had someone to write the music and sing my song too.  great Poem
