MY DISEASE HAS BROUGHT ME POETRY.....
In my battle with C.I.D.P.
I have faced years
In bed
Learned to make pain
My friend,
And grew,
Through dark contemplation
To reach
Into my conversations
With God,
And reverse my fears
And demons
Tasted,
Each coming season
With the anticipation
Of His light.
The quintessential reason
For my love
Of living,
And giving, of my life
The only way I can.........
Through the words HE gives to me
Through prose and poetry
Where, not only
Has my soul flourished
But,
Found an engaging
Work-station,
In cosmofunnel's garden
Where my selfish
Self-expression,
Has brought me,
Directly,
Into the splendor
Of true Loves
Sweet
Surrender....

I love this Tony...pain is something else isn't it? there's something about it that can make you want to do more and try harder...and I"m not only talking about physical pain...I'm also referring to emotional pain. Emotional pain is what drove me to poetry and music. Of course, I hope you are doing better and I wish for you so much joy. Congratulations on so much talent and your success..!
