My Raven Came He Came a'Tapping

From my Raven Collection

My Raven Came He Came a'Tapping

My Raven came, he came a'tapping
on window pane
whilst I was napping

he came to me, to tell a truth
that I should not remain recluse

he told me there's a world outside
a life that's full and there's no strife

he told me I should rise from slumber
so I did, and now I wander

mind can see, mind can touch
seek the sun, I love so much

smell the roses red as cherries
collect in basket all the berries

found a truffle in the ground
touched the salt in ocean's mouth

next time I take a restless nap
I'll surely wait for Raven's
tap.

Starting with truth/recluse

Every rhyme thereafter perfect

And the ending!

My goddess! You almost make me wish I could rhyme like that 🤗. I will wait for the Raven's tap on our window, knowing that we have ravens living in the area. But, a croak is just as good to inspire🤣... Keep writing sequels🙏🙏🙏

I adore frogs too dear John, so glad you have enjoyed my rhyme, it's not something I often do, but when I do I get great satisfaction. Thank you. 🌹

I recently did a meditation on a guiding spirit who needed to get some energy from me in exchange for his help and - I am so sorry to say - he took the form of a stork so he got frogs from me and it helped me through a major busy last week at the office 😱 😂. That is why there are storks in my poem😂... Take care!

I love this so much I've pinned it. One because its a beautiful read and two because every one needs a tap on the shoulder sometimes. Hugs x
