Poem -

my refuge

You see me now as a hurdle
You need to jump
To pass to forget

The pain entered your heart
I am now your regret

That haunting memory
That never seems to fade

Wishing to never remember
The love that I gave

We paved that road to hell
so forcefully we both fell

So jump me, pass me by
I am an angel flying high

I never touched that ground
My soul separated
The moment we unwound

Goodbye to that memory
The love that we once found

We are forevermore parted
I am free ,so jump pass me by
Without a sound,

Seek those wings to fly
Find your own way to heaven
Or be forevermore
Those pieces across the ground

I'll never be your regret
Nor ever question why
I found my refuge in the sky.
