MY REFUGE

I can recall the first time you held my hand

I saw your love

And said a prayer of thanks to God

For making you my man!

You held me in your arms

You surrounded me with love.

To me, yourself you gave!

And you shelter me from harm

( Which I think is very brave! )

You hold me in the storm

On you I can depend!

When you hold me close

You always help me mend!

You soothe my wounds

And wipe my tears.

You keep me from falling apart!

You love me without question!

With your gentle soul and heart.

You helped me to be what I am

And I know we will never part.

You are always by my side

Your love I`ll always treasure.

I hope you know that you give to me

Such a lot of pleasure!

I`m telling the world that you are mine

And my love for you will never change

As long as there is time.
