Poem -

My Savior

My Savior

I stare down at the water

Thoughts, crazily and quickly, pacing in and out

I jump in,

Closing my eyes on the way down

There's water all around me now

My lungs stop moving

My heart struggles to pump blood through out my body

I feel my body growing colder

"Soon, I'll be in Heaven…" I think

As my lungs fill with water

They burn

I grip my chest, still feeling the unbearable hurt

"I'm drowning…" I think once more

Everything starts to go black

Until, an unidentified human dives in and holds me

Wrapping their arm around my waist,

Pulling me onto the shore

The water leaves my lungs alone

I can't see clearly

I feel their hand tracing the scars on my arm

"Please…" they whisper,"don't ever leave me again."

"I won't" I whisper back into the now-familiar's voice's ear
