My secret may hurt you,

But I need to tell you.

I have to get it off my chest,

It’s for the best.

It weighs on my mind,

Even though it’s not kind.

Please don’t be mad,

I never meant to make you sad.

I never wanted to see you cry,

Maybe someday I will tell you why.
