When is someone gonna put themselves in my shoes? 
As a dad,
A friend or family member too.
I wouldn't be human if I didn't make mistakes
a little bit of understanding is all it takes,
For not just me,
 But also you.
If you could walk my life for a day,
You’d want your life back in an instance,
And that's just because of the pain.
You’d leave my life at a distance,
As you realise,
My life,
Is too much for your brain.
My life,
Would leave people in a horror type trance,
My life would leave you in a mental hospital.
Would leave you feeling insane.
My life really isn’t a merry dance,
But i’ll never stop my dance with cancer,
Until that beast inside is slain.
Too many news reports,
Like seeds for plants.
Showing my last 20 years of fighting it,
Actually,
Hasn’t been in vein.
Cancer was thrown at me,
To shake me off my balance.
My loved one walked my path,
To help me live again.
NO more my life will be left to chance.
No more of the cancers ball and chain.
Just a simple life,
For my soulmate and I,
My love for you is red hot,
Like that,
From the jet engine,
 on an aeroplane!
So if you don’t get my methods,
Or my fathering,
There’s nicer ways of doing things,
And any way.
I rule the roost at the end of the day.
You have a problem with the way i do things,
Then come ahead,
And have your say.
My kids seem to think i’m amazing,
My partner too,
So how is it,
You see me in a completely different way?
You’re the kind of people,
For me to be sane,
I have to keep away.
WE all share different opinions,
So to me,
My fathering is more than ok.
So for all you haters out there,
I beg you live in my shoes,
Just for 1 simple day!
