My soul in the sky💙

My soul is sat somewhere up above in a cloud

Hanging right over me just like a shroud

It creeps back inside of me when it is allowed

Stead fasting my feelings protecting and proud

Yet that sensitive soul never ever leaves my side

Though it hovers in happenstances hoping to hide

But I know it is always listening all starry eyed

Watching every step I am wandering far and wide

So this conscious of courage can laugh with me or cry

As my emotional soul sits up in the sky

And it will be with me forever til the day that I die

I will trust it with my life, for my soul cannot lie

My body is a book that my soul likes to read

As it flicks through my pages with gusto and speed

Lending advice and guidance indeed

Oh yes that inner soul is yon strength of sensitivity, which my heart has to heed…
