My sound of silence 💕

My sound of silence 💕

My sound of silence is the rustle on the ground

As a gentle breeze bellows withered leaves all around

And I listen to the river as it rolls to the sea

Amidst an ambience of quietude and shushed serenity..

Tho I hear a humming as I lie in my bed

That ticking tock of tinnitus inside my head

So I stroll and I amble where’er I tread

To mask that noise with good old Mother nature instead..
