My stature

My stature

Sporatic in nature, a charismatic feature

In the attic a creature, not from
the past nor future

Who's certain to read you, look past your rugged exterior

No one know what's up there, that's why we stay on the interior

Slave away every day to pertain inner claims, enter in evidence of our shames

You kindled my flame, I'm akin with your name

You taught me how to be, and how to look past the blame

If we're really all one in the same why do some suffer again and again

While others remind us of what we can obtain, my mother tells me that I will pertain

I can't close curtains if it's for certain, my stature is to stay true even when I'm hurting

Even when I'm drunk and blurting obscenities absurdly, my remedies are melodies like birds chirping

The only ones around to hold me are my friends and family, lift me up past my own fallacies

As far as the eye can see, I have everything I need.
