Growing up in a single parent home mama doing her best she got her Armor of God on, but is this her test?

Different daddies I'm left alone seem like I don't have a friend I'm on my own

Drawing and singing to keep my mind sane hoping one day I'll get to the fame!

14 years old wanting to take my life wanting to run away be that was something I had to fight.

Battling with the mind feeling alone, what is my destiny or just give me a song.

Singing an praying I found my way, met a guy that made me stray!

17 years old he stole my heart if you looked at our past you couldn't tell us apart

He was battling like me we both felt alone now we're together it couldn't go wrong

20 years old I had a child he was all mines he made me smile

Things weren't working out so three months I left

I took a piece of him that we both once felt

Now I'm alone again, I remember this feeling I had to go back that's where I felt home I wasn't alone!

Went back it was crazy fights then another baby

I was giving my all but it wasn't enough I destroyed his heart I messed up his trust!

Fights and arguing every other day 4 years went by it wasn't healthy I couldn't stay

He put a gun to my head just take my life I'm already dead

Battling with the mind gets harder at night I was battling feeling alone now I'm battling with myself, he took my self-esteem! Who am I and What am I worth?

I'm standing still with nothing to say

Attitude gone bad I'm losing myself, I'm losing my name, I'm losing my wealth

it's crumbling in

I'm in a box

God please help me and make it stop

I've strayed away but I'm your child my name is Joy my soul cries loud

I've passed my test show me my destiny and I'll do the rest!
