My Sunshine

My Sunshine

They told me sunshine was intangible

Yet I felt it in my finger tips as I caressed your perfect face

For when  the spring birds sang,

I kissed its essence upon your softened lips

And though I sleep in moonlight

I rise and wake to the honey scent of my sunshine

Your warmth coursing through my veins brings hope anew

For as sure as life begets death,

I am reborn in your light

Susan coming from you that means a lot! I really feel the same about your poetry. I've enjoyed reading you for some time now (I just really suck with logging  on and commenting!) Thanks again for reading and commenting!
