My Time

They tell me I can't do this
Or that I'm nuts for doing it
Others have even called me stupid
Let them say what they want
Their words can't change one important fact
That my life couldn't continue as it was

I was heading for a dead end
I could read the writing on the wall
My only salvation was a drastic change
My whole life was about other peoples needs and wants
Not this time
Not anymore

Everything I'm doing is all about me this time
I want more money
I want my own home
I want my own car
And most importantly, I want the best damn woman on the planet
And I will not be denied
Not this time

This time is MY TIME
And at this point, you're either in support of what I'm doing
Or you're in my damn way
And if you're in my way, you will either get run over or just left behind
