Poem -

My True Love Lies And Waits For Me

My True Love Lies And Waits For Me

I know my sweetheart lies In wait for me given time one day soon that's to where I'll surely be
To lay alongside her to keep her company In winter the place where Helen lays becomes cold and very
lonely
But In summer the flowers bloom and warm the place to where my sweetheart
lays
The birds will sing their joyful song to spread their love around the grave to where I laid my darling down to
rest
One day soon It's to where I'll rest too alongside my darling Helen to keep her company

In death we may be sleeping,
but aren't necessarily gone,
possibly we are resting patiently, where the soul hath moved on.
