MY TWO LEFT FEET

I bumped into you on a crowded streetÂ
My own fault for having two left feetÂ
I apologised and smiled your wayÂ
You smiled back and said it was okayÂ
Pleasantries were exchanged and hellos were saidÂ
I invited you for a coffee my face turning redÂ
When you accepted and told me yesÂ
My heart was spinning and my head in a mess
From that moment on we have been together alwaysÂ
Love they say moves in mysterious waysÂ
I will always remember that crowded streetÂ
Our chance meeting and my two left feet

Hi TonyÂ
Many thanks for your kind and supportive comment.Â
Only true in my imigination I'm afraid !
Having two left feet may kinda hamper you as a dancer, KIERAN. But it certainly didn't hurt the narrator of your poem as it pertains to finding his one and only true love.
In fact, it was very beneficial and central to them meeting in the first place.
Well rhymed conveying a romantic love story as well.
Well penned, sir.
