Poem -
My Voice
A voice inside
wants to roar, shout, yell - let me outĀ
About to explode, clears the throat one last timeĀ
Heart catches it there- suffocates it yet again
Bombards it with justifications
Scares it with judgemental eyes
Voice inside -yet again smothered -quietens
Goes to deep sleep
Hopes to wake upĀ
Night day night day ........flutter flutter...

Very interesting indeed!Ā There are many reasons our voice can fail us. Physical... No voice to use. Or through fear or even lack of self confidence. I feel so sorry for the person in this poem... They so obviously want to say something but for whatever reason they can't. You have expressed the frustration well x
