My woodland wanders 🦊

I wandered thru a woodland when I heard the Cuckoos call
As I stood soaking up that atmosphere in amongst those trees so tall
Ancient oak with gnarled grim faces canopied the copse in dense, dark places
And I walked a little further on my countryside trail
When I caught a glimpse of a big, bushy tail
A sly old Fox looked at me from betwixt and between a Sycamore tree
That rusty red animal with bold, bright eyes
Looked uncomfortable amidst shocked surprise
But I guess I was a foreigner on his domain
And I had stopped him in his tracks on his country lane
So I ambled on and I left the Fox to his habitat
When I got home, I wrote this little poem and that was that…

I listen to him he’s interesting the cuckoo never heard of them before don’t think they live in Florida maybe it’s too hot for them I don’t know but anyway want to say good night my great friend as always peace and love to you❤️🌹😃
