Naive or stupid?

 The Far-East my friend,
 Is the place to be...
 They have sussed,
 Things out together,
 Like one big family!

 Fellow man in hand,
 just like a brother...
 Unlike us,
 They help each other!

 They asked if we are naive,
 Or maybe even stupid,
 Because of all the worlds resources,
 The west now uses!

 As far as I know,
 Our equity's all gone,
 All our leaders have left,
 Is us,
 To raise loans upon!

 Looking underneath it all,
 It's possible,
 we're daft,
 Coz we think we own,
 The land and homes.
 Its security,
 On nations overdrafts!

 Money is no object!
 Is the old saying,
 We are giving away,
 The future,
 As a way of paying!
 For our high standards of living,
 Its so wrong,
 I'm trying to explain to you,
 What I think is going on!

 Are we stupid or naive?
 They said!
 That was the question.
 I'm sure,
 There find out soon enough,
 At the next elections!
