Nameless Despair

Nameless Despair

Put me to rest in an eternal sleep
And I ought to find contentment
Come summer and reminisce
Will this sentimental fool ever be at peace?
The wise are no different from a fool
Prisoned in their mind inevitably
Moonless and intoxicating
Madness and insufferable
Singing in blues and
Staring at the beam on the ceiling
Asking what could go wrong?
