Narrative Of A Writer

Writing is my therapy,
An outlet of thoughts and feelings,
With emotions of words to define,
Though most probably could care less.

It's an expression to reveal myself,
Those ideas in my mind twirling around,
Happily connecting all the pieces,
Thus in the end forming a sentence.

Accumulating on the page the words,
All relating to the subject matter,
Happily joined as the product at end,
Making interesting a picture colored.

With pen in hand I begin to tell,
Releasing in humility to shower paper,
For all to read in either joy or disgust,
Not really caring one way or the other.
