Natural Delights

Do you ever pause for a moment
When you are walking outside
Find yourself a quiet spot
Then open your eyes wide

Look all around you, what do you see ?
How many birds are there flying free ?
Are there any trees, are you in a city ?
Maybes there is a park full of woods, Oh so pretty

Doesn’t matter where you are
There is nature all around
Tiny new buds popping 
up in the ground

Take another look, 
find a wall take a seat
Fresh air is good for you
It’s something you cant beat

Look up above at the clouds in the sky
What direction are they moving
As they pass by ?

What is the weather like, 
Is it dry or wet
You may have an umbrella 
if its the latter I bet

Are you at the seaside
Strolling by the coast
This is my favourite walk
I enjoy it the most

I love the hard sand
As I paddle in the sea
Jumping the little waves
How this delights me

Listening to the sounds
As the ripples lap the shore
Seagulls squawking & screeching
Aquatic noises galore

Wonderful scenic images
They are everywhere you go
Just look around you now
You will see nature overflow ❤️
