Natures Healing Beauty

Nature satisfies the soul simply by being beautiful, and perpetually smiling
The influence of the shapes in nature are so imperceptibly  beguiling
And the sweet aroma's and healing touches, we take so much for granted
Seem misunderstood to men when we know that Mother Nature planted
The sun in the sky, the wind on the leaves, the kisses on your cheeks
Given so gracefully, that we never seem quite fulfilled, or so incomplete
As we when we settle from our feet and watch as the sun goes down
And smile at the shooting star that we have just wished upon
The very health of the eye seems to demand a horizon
We are never tired, as long as we can see far enough
I have witnessed the spectacle of morning, from wheat fields of a farm
The long tender rows of clouds floating like butterflies bringing charm
To weary workmans eyes, as he clocks out from his nine to five
To the hill tops as a child, where I ran and felt so alive
To the body and the mind, which have been stifled from noxious training
It's when nature provides a cleansing, we step outside to find it raining
But beside this general grace diffused over nature
Men have devised the perfect nomenclature
That allows our spirits to soar, when we hear her described in words
How does nature deify itself, with simple things like dirt?
It's our magical human eyes, that actually deifies
The world around us, so beautifully described
The never ending, healing, ballet of sunrises and sunsets
It happens every day, and yet we all forget......
