Clouds of molten ash, how fast

Engulfing everything around

Frightening noise, harrowing sound

It is time to flee this scene

For once where it was glorious green

Now it is all hell incarnate

This is natures power to create

Bubbling and belching lava grows

Nothing survives as the volcano blows

See the pyroclastic flow

Created from the bowels of the rock below

The pungent smell of sulphur hangs in the air

An almighty show that the earth does share

To create new life on fertile earth
