Negative Thoughts

As I sit here I think of nothing but negative thoughts 
Racing like cars around and around my mind consumes me whole 
The slightest thoughts of you send chills down my spine
As each hair on my neck stands 
I feel everything 
Iced over like a wet pavement in December 
My heart becomes colder and colder with each passing day 
As the love I crave is denied 
Believing that it is not meant to be I sit and think nothing but negative thoughts 
No more smiles 
No more laughs 
No more cuddling 
No more chats 
For my heart cannot take the pain of a fake smile 
Where hidden between the teeth lays venom for the words you speak 
Your laughter cutting through like the blade of a sharpened knife 
The love I have for you bleeding Out into a pool of weakness 
As I cry I feel everything 
And so I sit and think nothing but negative thoughts
Reality becomes a single question mark 
At the end of the sentence that has become my life
The last pages of this story have been torn out 
Like my heart has been ripped from my chest 
The chapters end 
But the conclusion remains 
You are not mine as I am not yours 
If love feels like this I never want to feel this love 
Colder and colder my heart again frosted over 
As I sit and think nothing but negative thoughts
