neglected elemntry kid
what do you mean you need even sides for the foot ball teams.
I wanted to play to, but your making me pore out streams.
I try to stay strong, but walk away,
I try to do good but the love won't stay.
neglected by my peers, my only friends the teachers.
my only friends the out casts.
I was an out cast, an out cast with other's
because I hung out with other outcasts, I was being unbothered.
no girl liked me because of my back ground, every girl saying NO, because I was no good.
it effects me today, I stay clear from relation ships. because of fear of being rejected.
because I was neglected.
people trying to reach out to me today, but in my head I still remember those days.
those days of my child hood, I wanted to fit in, really I did.
but I tried too hard, my mind felt scared.
I was scared, scared to this day, scared and betrayed.
you think its easy being me, do you.
well try working at a job where they need you every second of every shift that your on.
try working only two days.

Russ you were probaly avoiding the girls simply because you wanted the right one,the one that wanted the same thing you did,shared all the right reasons for each other and the reason to keep what you and she would have strong.I can't believe the other way around, you have to cool of an attitude, to wonna not be true to one person, not to mention the pride in you and the monumental sacrafices you have made and knowing, a man of your word and for (ALL) people.It would be nice if things could and should go the way for you as much as you try to malke it all good for others. You truly deserve it, keep doing what you do best (J) keep your head strong and you've given something to all you know in life and now its time life try to at least, in some manner, return, in any assisted gesture possible....The time is now....

You are truly an inspiration, its very obvious you have your morals in place, for you don't follow the dark shadows and you don't chase, you have your heart in the very right place.
So as Sir Jimmy says keep doing what you do best, and i am sure you'll aim high and score well for life's challenges and on going test.

Hey Thanks Shirley, you always place the icing on everyones cake, the right way and presentation, without asking to be rewarded in life...(You inspire us all)...Russ have a heart of (Gold) and God realizes he has a quota to make and hadn't made it yet and that people such as my partner (James Russ.Mackie) is at the front of the line and if no the front, (he has his pride as you stated Shirley) and as the man he is always taking the backseat for others he see in should need to wait no lower than (# 2 or 3) ....

Thanks for your comments as usual, and i must say your story moved me so much, and i am so happy that your teacher got a chance to tell you what he did, its often stories like this that slaughter and block most people from following their passion and dreams, MAY HE REST IN PEACE.

Besides the wonderful poems, you are a special man and as the poet you are, i hope this world values your work, for what they truly are, (masterpieces), before the world or yourself, remains no longer with us.....You are a poet of truth and it is sad, to see those such as yourself, recognized after the fact and someone else gain from your valuable works of art...You have given us the pleasures of reading them but it should be your pleasures, of the bounties, they will gather, rather than someone, who has no idea of the passion and fortitude placed into them and they unfortunately, are lucky enough, to acquired them from another.Your art is valuable beyond belief to us all and the world needs to gain knowledge of this as well.......The world needs to know...That was an amazing story william and inspiration poured fluently from its pitcher, upon it's readers and my cup runneth over....Great advice (Lady) Shirley....

wow, the poem that I posted starting a convo like this! I'm even more inspired to write. not just poetry, but music (more then ever any way.) I hope not just my poetry, but every ones, inspires other people to write.
I started writing because of a nervouse brake down, my care taker put a booklet in front of me, and said. write how you feel on this piece of paper. so I did. writing helps keep me mello.
but I like your story william, its more inspiring then writing because of my caregiver. I'll give you that.
stay true to your self and others and people will respect you. thats what I'm trying to live by now adays. I know thats how you guys live.
