Never A Tower
If you never try an o p e n mind,
Of anything to cherish will you find?
If you never change the way you bEhAvE,
What addictions are you trying to save?!
If your life feels totally incomplet e,
Why is it you won't rethink delete?
Never experiment with the tried and true,
How will you ever establish the neW?
Wisdom from the past can give you POWER!
No foundation; then never a tower!
If you won't seek deity; then entreat,
How many of your dEmOnS will you defeat?
Holy Ghost is the witness of all TRUTH,
Seek His influence; find out the proof!

Hi Syd! well we can change that! lol! I've searched for truth my whole life and love it when I find it! avoided being religious for many years myself because I didn't think men could be a part of something organized through deity and not screw it up! and I never would have joined any organized religion until a very powerful answer came to a sincere prayer! There is a book you can investigate and find out for yourself! just message me! all the best!
Jim, it all boils downs to choices I guess on life's pathway or journey and the answers will one day dawn upon us, enlighten us, so to speak.
That's life and however inclined to roll with it.
Great poem and the way you have written it, for me as a reader ,raises more questions than answers. Are the pauses there to make one pause and reflect, to evaluate one's juncture of life.
I digress and still trying to work out those capitals!!!🙂
