Never alone

As I lie in bed falling fast asleep,

I feel the warm traces as a tear begins to creep.

I dream of love and beauty the laughter of my kids,

get on the outside another tear down my cheek has slid.

Between my next to silent sobs I strain my ears to hear,

I am loyalty and passion encased by pain and fear.

I feel the heat from a touch so gentle and so kind.

radiating the care and concern that I've only found in my mind.

"hello friend how's life? You can't always see me but I'm here".

"always by your side.. on your shoulder.. A whisper in your ear".

I have to believe that she's my angel here for my greater good.

For each time I've fallen, alone for me she stood

Outlined in neon I see the words "Walk in faith! t's okay to be afraid".

I won't forget to love myself because when I lost my mind she's the only one who stayed
