Never forgotten

Sometimes I sit and watch the world go by
Thinking of old friends brings a tear to my eye
Time passes quickly
But memories don't fade
From being at school 
To the games that I've played

But nothing matters more
Then the things that I've done
Becoming a dad is my number 1
But even the little things that mean such a lot
Spending time with the family 
 and the memories we've got
and remembering the good times even those that were sad

They hold their purpose
Good or bad
A caption, an image 
Of a life that I've had

Bring on the rest 
Thats yet to come
More memories and good times
And lots more fun
