Never have I been pregnant

Never have I have had a child call me mom

Never have I had the warm embrace of a child

Never have I changed my child’s dirty diaper

Never have I felt a baby kick inside me

Never have I been sick for days with nausea over being pregnant

Never have I stayed up all night long and gotten no sleep because my baby was crying

Never have I ever went and bought you clothes for my child

Never have I gotten a positive pregnancy test

Never have I gotten to use the baby names that I have picked out

Never have I ever had a baby shower

Never have a my own child throw up on me

Never have I had to change the sheets because a diaper didn’t hold out

Never have I ever been so exhausted that my baby will not stop crying.

Never have I ever called into work because my kid was sick

Never have I ever went to a competition and cheered my child on

Never have I went to a parent-teacher conference

Never have I ever had to discipline my child

Never have I had a hug from my child

Never have I taken pictures of my child

Never have I heard my child’s voice

Never have I had my child look at me

Never have I had my child call me mom

Never have I sent my child to school

Never have I cried that I left them for their first day of school

Never have I made my kids lunch

Never have I ever bought toys for my child

Never have you seen so many pregnancy announcements on Facebook that it makes you cry tears of sadness even though you are happy for them.

Never have you went to the store to buy so many pregnancies tests that people stare at you thinking that don’t you only just need one?
