‘Never judge a book by it’s cover’

‘Never judge a book by it’s cover’

First appearance can be deceptive
An immediate falsify
A fudged fabrication
from within the mind’s eye

How can one criticize a character
without the knowledge of the truth ?
It takes time to gain evidence
one needs demonstrated proof

‘Never judge a book by it’s cover’
whilst this idiom is very true
Isn’t it so simple to misread a situation ? I know I often do

One should be willing to except circumstance
what has past before has gone
Give the benifit of the doubt,
start anew and move on

‘Innocent until proven guilty’
surely everyone deserves a second chance ?
One has not the wisdom nor the comprehension on an initial glance

Being Me

Wise words. I always go on how people treat me and never on hearsay. Hearsay is dangerous and unfair. Having said that, I am the queen of second chances. As humans we are all full of imperfections so forgiveness is a gift worth giving . Forgive? Yes. Forget? No (but that is one of my many imperfections). As always, a wonderful inking from you Jill x
