Poem -

Never Loved you

There are scars that I can't heal
There are things that just ain't real
Like the love you showed me

I've acted like I didn't care
But when I see you here
I start to stop and stare

And the tears aren't held back

I can't handle that
Look in your eyes
The same way you
Looked inside mine
You took my heart,
You took my love
But instead of staying
You left me saying
I never loved you

How stupid could I have been
For giving myself away
To a torn up man
I hope I'll never do that again

But my sense of love
Found a way to need someone else
But again they took advantage
Of the way I felt

And I can't handle it
That look in your eyes
The one you used too
Put in mine
You tore me apart,
You broke my heart
Instead of trying
You left lying
And telling me
I never loved you
