New Day

Days of strife and struggle fade,
With goodness of His fruit to claim,
The witness of His love for you,
The grace He gives as living proof.

Nights of sorrow to then end,
With joy and happiness to live,
Where all God's plans to be revealed,
A promise of the land to fill.

Many nights that you cried out,
He always heard your fears and doubts,
Yet blessings would still soon await,
The yearning of your heart to take.

You will see this path you've walked,
It comes to pass, the day you've longed,
For until now you've not yet seen,
But just you wait and you will glean.

Turn aside the voice not His,
But listen closely and He lives,
For there is coming still more joy,
And devil's plans to be destroyed.
