New Paths

Child

From my eyes you cannot see

the oceans filled with visions far,

beyond your imagination.

Your vision’s blurred by childhood

Hurts. No foot holds nor feathers

to catch you, to cushion the blows

of the winds that carried

and stifled you.

Freedom lays before you now

Your ever widening steps

carry you to wider worlds

yet unknown

where the torn and faded past

will aid in your survival.

Hi Kylie, in your composition visions of the immensity of the ocean cloud the imagination of a child that moves the wind without protection, but which, despite that, his steps are free, safe and lead to survival. Greetings, congratulations on the composition and welcome to COSMOFUNNEL, the page of the poets on the website par excellence... do you write so excellence? (LOL).
