My help

My help

I lift my eyes up to the hills for

whence comes my help, my help

comes from the Lord the maker

of  the heavens and the earth.

He is my help and shield.

He is my refuge and stronghold.

He is my fortress and salvation.

He is a very present help in times

of trouble, he is my shelter from

the raging storms and he will

hide me under the shadow of

his wings.

My feet will not strike a rock for he

will command his angels to lift

me up, he is my light in my

darkness hours and my protector

from all harm and danger.

I will sing a new song to the Lord

for his grace is sufficient for me,

his mercies endures forever,

he is full of compassion, he is

slow to anger and abounding

in love.

Hi, thanks, God is truly our helper, without him we can do nothing. We need to lean on his understanding and not our own.
