New Years, Say Cheers

New Years, Say Cheers

New Years, say cheers.

Celebrate traditions, a new start.
The time of year for a change of heart.
We say we will hold true,
To be the best form of you.

New Years, say cheers.

On a mission for healthy food,
Don't like it, so you elude.
Buying new clothes to workout,
An empty promise, a summer's drought.

New Years, say cheers.

Just one glass and no more,
You say as you pour.
Another payday rolls around,
Money runs into the ground.

New Years, say cheers.

I'll find my love for sure,
But just one more night with her.
I'll follow my dreams, become a star,
Or maybe I'll just look from afar.

New Years, say cheers.

Here we are again at this party,
Drinking some rum and Bacardi.
This year is gunna be our year,
No need to be stopped by fear.

New Years, say cheers.

Fireworks crack and light up the sky,
Putting a glimmer of hope in their eyes.
I promise this year will not be the same,
We know we are the ones to blame.

New Years, same cheers.
