Gen X Heartbreak

I got off at Morissette Station, just past India, to thank the Silence

The Silence didn't reciprocate the good will

Houston, we have a problem

The love of self has not turned out to be the greatest love of all, for me or for you

And you know what's also wacko?

They're still saying colour matters

In other news, as we stop to notice the death of our world

The wind of change never came

Nothing seems to be slowing it down

I've got this feeling...

Somebody dance with me

Cause we can't find revearse as we hurtle through this universe Jim

DJ Bono's been playing Jesus

And all we're left with is a bad taste in our mouths

It's been rich to preach about love as a blessed thing oh yeah

But all we got was the American madonna Kravitz didn't want

As the song of our heart becomes a freedom that's chained
