Poem -
THE NIGHT FALLS
The night falls deeper and deeper bringing with it darkness like a long lost friend...
Within moments the air chills a little more than just a few moments ago...
A breeze I feel coming from a closed window behind me...
Some call it Winter...
Some call it Fall in the evenings...
As the night falls staying darker longer...
My breath I see as I wait indoors for a shot of warmth to find me...
The reminder I know I am blessed...
Maybe tomorrow the sun will shine for a very short time and share it's warming gifts with me...
As the night falls quickly upon me...
Too cold to sleep,..
Too cold to stay awake...
Will tomorrow be there if only to surprise me?
