In the night the relentless rain

Streams upon my window pane

Dreams return of you again

In this endless pouring rain

Don’t stand outside in the falling rain

I watch the gentle weeping rain.

It was all me I am to blame

I alone caused the pain

Window tears streaming again

Rivers of salty weeping rain

The rains came when you said goodbye
