Night To Dawn

By Magic Bellmore,Queen of Chaos

Night To Dawn

Lost inside the world of night,
I know it won’t be long β€˜till dawns first light,
I watch and wait as the stars disappear,
I see them fade, I shed a tear.

Darkness holds the greatest beauty,
The beauty of unknown,
Watching the dark fade to light,
And then light into dark,
It is the never-ending cycle of a phoenix and a flame.

Like a candle to the rain,
An inferno to the pain,
A chamber of glass,
Haunting echoes of the past,
Ghosts and dreams shout their cries,
Starry shades, haunts of nights,
Waiting 'till dawn to hide from sight.

Swaying in time to the thunderous sea,
Dancing β€˜till dawn, oh ever so free,
Kicking up swirls of ash,
The fires are a blaze with a simple flash.

Thanks so much, this poem took me a while to find words that flowed over your tongue effortlessly but in due time they were found.
