Nightly Rose

The nights so young

That the words can’t be used by the tongue

Fantasy is not the issue

Because I know that I missed you

Let alone the time we were stuck to each other like glue

I know how you feel

But this is for real

When the times come

We would go back and see what we’ve done

As if it was nothing

But I have a feeling that we’re missing something

Maybe it’s that one thing

That back then we had that fling

That made us into a queen and king

When there’s a dove

They appreciate our love

For all eternity

That we wish to live together in prosperity

Then into serenity

And our lives would be like a fantasy

Don’t look so sad

Even though it was bad

But just be glad

That this is all that we had

To be husband and wife
